Adebayo T. SALAMI, former Acting Head, Department of Political Science and former Coordinator, Social and Management Sciences Sandwich Programmes; Coordinator, Conflict Management and Citizenship Education (GNS 202), and current Director of Programmes, Oba (Dr.) Sikiru Kayode Adetona Institute for Governance Studies, studied at the universities of Benin and Lagos, Nigeria where he obtained the B.Sc., M.Sc. and PhD degrees in political science. Currently a Senior Lecturer with expertise in matters and issues relating to the amplifications of the subject matter of the discipline of political science with particular emphasis on the delivery of the fundamental purposes of the state. He is a grantee of the French Institute for Research in Africa, participant and observer at major events and fora with special regard to the fulfillment of professional responsibilities and community service engagements. He possesses teaching and research experience of over two decades and publications in both local and international outlets. Married and blessed with children, he swims and plays draught during his leisure hours.
